Loon project – balloon powered internet by Google

Many of us think that we are globally communicated but reality is that only one third of the world’s population unable to access internet. Google is the biggest internet service provider that server many of services to us. So Google start a project named PROJECT LOON to provide high speed internet to remote areas by loon balloons from stratosphere, twice high as the weather.  Google involves telecommunication companies to share cellular spectrum 4G LTE wireless signals to balloons. Each balloon has a receiver and transmitter circuit in a box with a solar battery. That keeps alive always the circuit. These signal passed across the balloon network and back down to internet.

Google started this project in June 2013 in New Zealand and successfully tested.
