On October 31, Honor will announce Magic 2, its new top-of-the-line smartphone. However, another product will also be presented to the public: Honor Watch. Now, with just a few days to go, the Chinese manufacturer has released a series of promotional images of its new smart watch, which will bring interesting features, one of which is support for NFC payments.

Honor Watch features a circular design with stainless steel bezels. The metal ring provides a tachymeter scale, while on the right side there are two buttons. The bracelet appears to be made of two-tone rubber, but for those looking for something more “premium,” promotional images have revealed that Honor will also be releasing a leather edition.

Unfortunately, the images shared by Honor do not show the new smart watch up close, except for the photo that confirms the possibility of NFC payments. However, it is clear that Honor Watch has been inserted in different situations, suggesting that it will be a complete smartwatch.

Information indicates that this device may have been developed in partnership with Audi, just as the company did with Honor Play. Honor Watch pre-sale has started – official sales are due to start soon after the event on October 31.

Anyway, the great “star” of that occasion will be the Magic 2, which promises to hit the market with cutting-edge hardware and screen with great use thanks to the sliding rear design. According to TENAA, Chinese regulatory body, Honor’s new top of the line features a 6.39 “screen with a resolution of 2340 × 1080 pixels.

Inside, we have a 2.6 GHz octa-core processor – the model was not mentioned, but Honor itself confirmed that it will be the Kirin 980, the same as the Mate line 20. There will be three variants available for purchase: the first with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, the second with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the third with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

There are three “Leica” sensors on the back, which add up to 16MP + 24MP + 16MP. Information indicates that Honor has also inserted three other sensors in the front, which deliver 16MP + 20MP + 2MP. In software, the Android 9.0 Pie will come factory installed, and to keep the device connected, we have a 3,400 mAh battery with 40W fast charging support.
