The company Nissan announced the start of the mass assembly of the new generation sedan Nissan Altima. In China, the car was previously known under the name Teana, and on the eve of the plant Dongfeng-Nissan released the first “four-door” sample of 2019.


The new model has received minor changes compared to the previous generation. So, a multimedia panel with an 8-inch touchscreen and a truncated steering wheel, which could be seen in the new Nissan X-Trail, appeared inside the cabin. In addition, an improved climate control unit and a central console with wireless charging for mobile devices with enhanced functionality were installed. Equipped with a Nissan Altima atmospheric 2.0-liter engine 159 hp and a 2.0-liter turbo engine, which has a variable compression ratio. Both power plants are paired with a CVT variator. The starting price is still unknown, but experts believe that it will vary from 1,668,000 to 2,895,000 rubles.
