MediEvil: trailer in 4K, images, comparison with the original and release year for the PS4 remake

MediEvil , the much loved series of owners of the first PlayStation of the name, is back in a totally remastered version.

Sony takes advantage of Halloween to communicate on a series unearthed at the end of 2017, MediEvil. As can be seen in this trailer we will find, the game was entitled to an integral facelift, like Crash Bandicoot or more recently Spyro.

No big surprise on the horizon since the MediEvil we are talking about here is a remake of the original and not a sequel or a reboot. The sensations of play should be similar to those of 20 years ago. Gameplay, level-design and scenario will not evolve. Sony promises however some editing at the soundtrack and game mechanisms;

Originally announced for release in 2018, the title will not see the day before 2019.

Exclusive to the PlayStation 4, Sony’s game will take advantage of the power of the PS4 Pro since it will be released in a version that will be adapted and that will deliver a visual experience in 4K, also allowing a very fluid experience at 60 images per second.

Moreover, the in-game images contained in the newly released trailer have been recorded on a PS4 Pro and give you a good idea of what the remake of this cult game will look like …
